Level 2 Leading Wellbeing Workshop delves deeper, equipping leaders to:

  • Promote a positive mental health culture by implementing strategies and techniques that prioritise mental wellbeing and foster a supportive work environment.
  • Respond effectively to crises by employing appropriate management techniques and providing immediate support and intervention.
  • Manage burnout among team members through identification, intervention, and prevention strategies, ensuring their overall wellbeing.
  • Emphasise self-care by exploring practices and strategies that enhance personal resilience and model healthy behaviors for the team.
  • Understand the impact of psychology and leadership styles on team dynamics and performance, facilitating effective leadership strategies.

3 hour workshop.

Level 2 Buddy Workshop takes a deeper dive into mental health by providing tools to improve help-seeking within the workplace.

Key areas covered are:

  • Knowledge and skills to respond to a worker who is experiencing a mental health crisis.
  • Knowledge and skills to support workers who hold negative attitudes towards seeking help.
  • Conversations on how to encourage help-seeking within the workplace.
  • Increased knowledge on self-care.
  • How to motivate someone who is resistant to seek help.
  • Knowledge on supporting someone struggling with substance abuse (alcohol, cannabis, and methamphetamine).

3 hour workshop.

The Level 1 Buddy and Leading Wellbeing workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical tools to foster a mentally healthy workplace.

The content of this workshop includes:

  • Learning to identify suicide risk, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
  • Developing skills to initiate conversations about mental health within work meetings.
  • Acquiring practical tools to effectively identify, communicate with, and support workers facing mental health challenges.
  • Gaining a deeper understanding of the factors that impact mental wellbeing in the workplace.
  • Enhancing confidence in addressing mental health concerns and empowering individuals to seek appropriate support.
